Benediction Nuptiale - Hollins

Hollins' music is perhaps seen more as pretty, these days

Full Title Benediction Nuptiale by Alfred Hollins (1865-1942)

Notes Published in 1898, composed for the marriage of the Rev. Hugh Black D.D. with Miss Edith Kerr. This is quite a long, attractive gentle piece. His initials "H.E.B." form the main theme (B natural, E, B flat in English). Hers don't appear. Perhaps she said "EK".

See also the Epithalamium, and the Bridal March, both by Hollins.

Duration 4 minutes
