Notes Written in 1970 by the foremost Czech composer of contemporary classical music. Eben's music is influenced by gregorian chant and folk music, distinguished by strong melodies, and underpinned by more contemporary harmony.
Much of his music is sacred, and his most often played work is the cycle Sunday Music for Organ Solo written in 1959.
